Roy Hodgson, manager of Crystal Palace, revealed that Wilfried Zaha is self-isolating after testing positive for COVID-19 in the Ivory Coast forward.
As a result of the outbreak, Zaha was absent from the Palace squad for their Premier League game at Burnley on Monday.
"Unfortunately, he tested positive for coronavirus, so he is self-isolating, and is awaiting the results of the next test," said Hodgson.
"He doesn't feel particularly ill, but the test has unfortunately been positive and he is following the procedures."
After his fine start to the season, Zaha's absence is a blow to the palace.
The 28-year-old netted five goals and supplied Hodgson's side with two assists.
In the Burnley match, he was due to make his 200th Premier League appearance but will be sidelined for the remainder of his quarantine.
