The burial ceremony of Robert Mugabe, the late ex-president of Zimbabwe has been postponed indefinitely.
The ceremony was initially planned to hold on Sunday, the 15th of Spetember; but the burial might not hold as family members of the deceased postponed the burial ceremony.
Leo Mugabe, who is Mugabe's nephew and the family's spokesperson revealed that Mugabe was a chief and he would be given a traditional burial. He was quoted as saying:
"Mugabe was a chief and he will be buried in accordance with tradition. The chiefs have not told us where he will be buried, so it is not clear yet. I also don’t know”.
The ex-president passed on Friday, aged 95. He died in Singapore, where he was receiving medical treatment. His body is expected to arrive Zimbabwe on Wednesday.
