Tekashi 6ix9ine, an American rapper, was recently hospitalized following an overdose of diet pills and caffeine.
The 24-year-old was reportedly admitted to a hospital in Florida on Tuesday, September 29, following his adverse reaction to a combination of substances.
6ix9ine confirmed his hospitalization in an interview with The Shade Room and said that his overdose was the result of taking a cup of coffee with two Hydroxycut pills instead of the recommended daily dosage of one. He claimed that his heart rate was accelerated by the combination of diet supplements and caffeine and began to "sweat excessively" shortly after his intake.
The New York musician, who is still on probation, also told the Shade Room that because of his severe weight gain during his time in jail, he was taking Hydroxycut drugs. He says he was over 200 pounds and he's lost only 30 pounds now.
