A robbery at Cristiano Ronaldo 's home in Madeira is currently being investigated by police.
It is said that the robber broke into the restored £ 7 million property in the island capital of Funchal through an unlocked garage door while the footballer was away with the national team of Portugal.
According to the respected island paper Diario de Noticias Madeira, a relative of Ronaldo's lifted the alarm on Wednesday morning. Ronaldo played in a match against Spain on Wednesday night.
The local paper claimed that when a construction worker opened it, the burglar took the chance to get in though the garage.
It is said that a signed Juventus jersey, worth about £180, was among the things taken along with other small belongings.
Police are also known to have investigated the property and are said to have detected from CCTV cameras the thief, classified as anyone who is also known to them. No arrests have been carried out since.
