Neymar, a Paris Saint-Germain forward, will be out with a hamstring injury which he sustained playing for Brazil for four weeks, the French club said yesterday.
Neymar limped off on Sunday in the 12th minute as Brazil drew 1-1 in a friendly Singapore versus Nigeria.
PSG said an MRI scan showed their star player in his left hamstring had developed "a level two lesion."
If he's out before Nov 11, Neymar will miss four matches in the French league, including a visit to Marseille on Oct 27 and home and away games in the Champions League versus Bruges.
Since serving a two-match suspension, the world's most expensive player is due to make his Champions League return to Bruges next Tuesday.
